Microsoft's Kodu Launches Next Week

Have you been waiting to get your hands on game programming? Are you excited by bright colors and easy interfaces? Are you in the Wii's target market of 8 year olds? Then rejoice, because Kodu is being released on June 30th!
Microsoft's experiment in interfaces that allegedly "don't suck" is baring fruit this month as the visual game development environment Kudo drops next week for the value price of 400 Microsoft Points. The "game" allows you to set rules for AI characters, game flow, and everything in between to create your own games. Designed with children in mind, Microsoft envisons that this lowest common demoninator approach to a development environment will yield a system that everyone can use to delve into the complexity of game design.
Be sure to look for Kodu under the Community Games section.
