While the recent announcement of Fable III has Microsoft fans rejoicing, those in the Sony camp have markedly less to be excited about. Regarding the upcoming PSP version of LittleBigPlanet, Mark Green (LBP's Senior Producer) stated that there will be no multiplayer in the upcoming PSP title. Disappointing news, to be certain. At least, however, LittleBigPlanet will maintain a “fully” realized level creation mode, and the ability to share the levels online.

Austin: WOW. When I bought LittleBigPlanet last year, it wouldn’t have gotten as high on my list if it didn’t have multiplayer. I’m tearing up inside that Media Molecule couldn’t include multiplayer. Taking the multiplayer out of LittleBigPlanet is like taking the multiplayer out of a Call of Duty game. Simply put, it will not end well. So, I’ll be grabbing the tissues for Aaron and I, now, while we cry about this.

But just reading that, probably won't get it for my PSP...because I heard the MP was one of the coolest things and it kinda got boring in SP after while.

Then, I had the experience to play it with some friends. Lets simply say it wouldn't have acquired my #2 (or was it third?) spot for GOTY or even grace my list at all.
