Featured Review - Bioshock 2
If you've enjoyed the first BioShock, then you will most likely enjoy its sequel. It doesn't have the same overall twist and freshness as the first title but the plot is enjoyable and actually gives you even more of a moral dilemma since you take the role of a Big Daddy and not Jack exploring rapture with no original purpose and killing indiscriminately. The multiplayer is a welcoming surprise to what many thought would be a tacked on extra - it's most definitely not.

Rock Band: Unplugged is a must for all music game lovers. It's a great time waster that has enough content to warrant your $40. If you're not a music/rhythm game fanatic, this might not be the game for you simply because it is heavy on the rhythm and low on anything else. I can tell you one thing, you'll look cooler playing this then you will playing Guitar Hero: On Tour. The fact that something...

Patapon 2 delivers an improved experience compared to the first game, and will appeal greatly to those who enjoyed the first game. For those that didn’t, it won’t do anything for you. The new additions add a great deal to the gameplay and the game is much longer than the first. If you love grinding (in games. Get your mind out of the gutter) then this game is for you. If you get tired of a...

You could still question why Resistance: Retribution exists on a PSP rather than a home console (and you wouldn't be wrong to do so) and shun it, but to do so would be to miss a rather great action title, certainly one to mark for the system's year end report card. Smartly designed and deftly produced, Retribution is far more than a portable quickie. Just be prepared to be nagged by one or two...

Loco Roco 2 is a fairly good title elevated by astounding visuals and jaw-dropping, toe-tappingly fantastic tunes. Were the price tag not so tantalizing, it might be more difficult to recommend a game that really has few gameplay tricks up its sleeve, but it's the right amount of fun for the right price. Plus, it's simply adorable.

N+ for PSP is true enough to the formula, but the porting process was a little rough. Bad hit detection feels a bit like it got recreated in a ground-up new engine to accommodate the new platform. The presentation was a really rough and felt like it could have taken a few more weeks to really hammer out. The online features are nice though, even if the presentation issues still carry over. I...

While not a masterpiece in any way, Crisis Core manages to carve its own unique spot in the RPG genre world. If you really like RPG's, or never even played one before, this game is your best choice on PSP.

If you have a PSP right now there's no reason why you shouldn't be playing God of War. It's the greatly crafted, high quality experience we've come to expect from the franchise, and now it's entirely portable I can't think of anything better for PSP than that.

Patapon's quirky art and addictive music will worm it's way into your subconscious, and with a $20 price tag, you can most certainly afford for it to. It's just a shame that the last third of the game falls so short of the first two, because if they had spent more time tweaking the end, Patapon would be something truly fantastic.

There's definitely things wrong here; the controls and length leap immediately to mind, and the Ratchet spirit is gone. But, at the end of the day, Size Matters is still one of the better PSP titles out there. It's a very competent, very solid platformer for on-the-go. Chances are, if you've ever considered buying a Ratchet and Clank game, you'll have a ton of fun with Size Matters, even if it's...

You'd be crazy not to play Final Fantasy Tactics, and this is by all means the best version of it. However, there's no excuse for some of the problems that plague this game when Square has had so long to work them out. It still feels trapped in that weird purgatory of “less than remake, more than a port, but even so, War of the Lions is a game that every PSP owner should have in their...

Crush is an undeniable success, and the first powerhouse title for the PSP since MGS: Portable Ops. The gameplay is unlike anything I have ever experienced in my life. In an industry plagued with the “next big sequel syndrome, Crush is an original, creative masterpiece.

0.5/5 - This game has nothing to offer; think about E.T. The Extra Terrestrial game.
1/5 - Stay as far away as possible from this title. This game does not have redeeming qualities.
1.5/5 - This game is bad and bordering on terrible. There are few, if any, aspects of the game worth experiencing.
2/5 - This game has a few key things that are well done, but the numerous faults overtake the overall. Possibly worth a rent for franchise fans.
2.5/5 - This game is flatly average. There's nothing very unique about the game, but it shouldn't be ignored and isn't utterly bad.
3/5 - This game is slightly above average. There is nothing incredibly special about it, but the game is worth a look for fans of the genre.
3.5/5 - An above average, teetering on "good" game. This title has some great ideas and ambitions, along with redeeming qualities that outweigh the handfuls of negative aspects, making it worth a play.
4/5 - A very good game - probably worth owning. Most gamers, regardless of genre preference, will be able to look past small issues and enjoy it.
4.5/5 - Fantastic game! In spite of small flaws, this game brings something different to the table and executes incredibly well. Any game receiving this score is a contender for game of the year.
5/5 - This game is as close to perfect as a game can be: an industry-changing masterpiece. Few and far between, any game receiving this score should be owned by everyone. ever.
