Encouraging players to "Get Your Ass Back to Mars," Volition, Inc. is sponsoring a holiday event in Red Faction: Guerrilla. As opposed to the standard double or triple XP that most games run, RF:G will see players on 360 and PS3 five full days of quintuple experience. The XP bonus applies to every game mode, as well, as announced on the Official Red Faction Community forums by V-Singular, the Community Director.

The event will run for five days, from Thursday (tomorrow) the 17th of December, until end of day on Monday, December 21st.

Also happening this week, the team behind Red Faction: Guerrilla will be utilizing their Twitter account (@RedFaction) to give away several free DLC codes for each console. All three DLC packs will be given away to a handful of lucky followers.

Brandon: RFG is one of the best games of the year, without question. It's always good to see community events and effort from the staff, as well. Count on me being in game this week.
