According to x360a.org, Ubisoft has stated that this week's first expansion to Assassin's Creed II, Battle of Forli, will not feature new achievements or trophies. It's unfortunate, but it's true. There is a possibility for future ACII expansion packs to feature achievements, but if Ubisoft's choice to not feature new achievements in Battle of Forli is any indication, players should not expect anything written in stone.

Philip: My two cents: I love achievements, and I love Assassin's Creed II.  Many gamers love getting rewards for completing things, so it would have made sense if Ubisoft decided to include achievements in this expansion pack. Otherwise, the exclusion of achievements may hurt sales, since the reward for completing BoF isn't present. Some gamers might just save their points for something else that will give them something out of their game time. As for me? I wasn't too fond of buying something on the same week that Mass Effect 2 came out in the first place.

What do you guys think of this? Wise or not on Ubisoft's part?
