Remember Beyond Good & Evil? No? That's probably because it never got the attention that it deserved. The original Beyond Good & Evil, a game by Michel Ancel, the creator of Rayman, was released back in 2003 for the Xbox, the Playstation 2, and the Game Cube. Most critics and gamers who experienced the game will not hesitate to tell you that it was one hell of an amazing game. Almost everything about that game - from its quirky cast to its very dark story - was incredible and left gamers in awe. Although it didn't sell well, its presence was still known.

Well, the game ended with a cliffhanger, and Ancel assured gamers everywhere that a sequel was in the works. Of course, the sequel fell under the radar, and the only recent tidbit about the sequel was a leaked gameplay trailer (shown below). Many have even forgotten that Beyond Good & Evil 2 still exists.

However, just today, Ubisoft told G4TV that the title is still in production.

"Yes, Beyond Good & Evil 2 and I Am Alive are both still in development," said the Ubisoft rep, "but there’s no additional info to provide at this time."

Hey, it's better to have barely info than no info at all, right?

Philip: This news just made my day. I LOVED Beyond Good & Evil, even though it was short. Knowing that BG&E2 is still alive is enough to satisfy me.
