Remember Psychonauts? If you don't, that's because it was a cult-hit platformer title that was very fun but sold so few copies, and it was made by the same guy who is bringing you the head-banging awesomeness that is soon to be Brutal Legend. In an interview with x360a.org, Shafer states that he would love to make a sequel to the beloved, mind-boggling game. When asked whether or not there would be a Psychonauts 2, Schafer said in the interview with x360a's Editor-in-Chief Dan Webb:

We have some ideas for that but there’s no plan to do that. It’s fun to think about, but we have some ideas for new stuff as well. I would love to do a Psychonauts 2 someday. Psychonauts could just go on and on though because it’s all about people’s brains. It’s all about every level being different and you could tell a whole new different story.

Hey, if when Brutal Legend proves to be a successful game, maybe Schafer can get some celebrity star talent signed on for Psychonauts 2, and order will be restored at last.

Philip: Awesome news. If Psychonauts 2 comes into existence, it better be longer than the first.
