New Sony Trademark Turns up

psn_logo It looks like Sony has filed for a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on December 28, for the term 'voyAgent'. The details of the trademark are reminiscent of Sony's competitor as something like Microsoft's Live Anywhere. Obviously it seems a little more detailed than just for gaming as voyAgent seems to apply to anything from MP3 players, PC's, portable game devices to LCD television's.

Here's a section from the trademark on the USPSTO's website, "Game services provided on-line from a computer network; entertainment services, namely, providing on-line computer games, music, video and related information; rental of audio equipment; online distribution of music, image or video; providing on-line electronic publications, not downloadable; online distribution of radio and television program"

The trademark comes on the the same day the term 'Cloudsurf' was trademarked as well with nearly the same description for the trademark.  Could this be a little bump in the pants for Playstation 3 owners who've been gnawing at their fingers to get a service such as Xbox Live on their belove Playstation?
