BioWare Would "Love to Revisit" Jade Empire

In an interview with Strategy Informer, Mike Laidlaw, lead designer of Dragon Age: Origins, comments on the possibility of a sequel to the beloved Jade Empire when pressed by the interviewer.
"It’s pretty much no comment. But, you know, we will certainly announce it if it’s going to be coming out. At this point, Jade Empire is a staff favorite and a lot of us love it, so we’d love to revisit it at some point."
The original Jade Empire was an action RPG set in ancient China and afforded the player the ability to choose his or her own path in a journey filled with martial arts and the ability to kick innocent pomeranian puppies. Yes, evil players can abuse pomeranians and get a sadistic kick out of it.
Hopefully, Jade Empire 2 will be the next game BioWare develops after Mass Effect 2 comes out.
Philip: I like pomeranians, but any game that allows you to kick them is pure genius... in a way. Maybe it's not pure genius, but flipping the bird to the PETA in a video game should be applauded.

Oct 14 2009 21:33:14 That's true, but those chickens technically can't die from what I remember in those games.
Besides, most Americans have eaten chicken at one time in their lives. Pomeranians are just too cute to abuse or eat. For most people, anyway. |
