One of 2010's biggest Xbox 360 exclusives, Fable III, has been confirmed to be in its final stages, according to a statement made by the game's creator and Lionhead Studios bigwig Peter Molyneux. In an interview with game industry site Develop, Molyneux was asked, "What are you working on right now, and what stage is the project at?" Molyneux answered, "Fable III which is almost at its final edit."

Fable III is the third installment of the long-running role-playing franchise and should be expected to be released in the holiday season of 2010.

Philip: I hope Fable III lives up to expectations. Fable II was fun, but there wasn't anything groundbreaking about it. Third time may be the charm!
