Microsoft Brings Back the "X" Convention

xbox-faces

Before 2006, Microsoft held an annual convention called the "X" festival. The "X" festival's purpose was to showcase new games exclusive to Microsoft systems. The reason for its demise was that Microsoft simply didn't have a large array of exclusives to showcase anymore.

Until now.

Microsoft rightly believes that the convention deserves to be renewed since there are no doubt plenty of exclusives headed for the Xbox 360 this year. The "X" festival is set to rise from its grave on February 12th in the sunny city of San Francisco.

The "X" festival is expected to feature games like Alan Wake, Crackdown 2, Halo: Reach, Fable 3, Splinter Cell: Conviction, and many other unannounced surprises for the Xbox 360. We can also expect to see the return of Natal and maybe even the debut of Gears of War 3.

Philip: Hey, Microsoft? May Valve please showcase Half-Life 2: Episode Three at your convention? Pretty please?

Half Life 2: Episode 3 and Killer Instinct XBLA please. I would pay 30$ to have the best SNES game ever made on my Xbox 360.

@ Manny: I don't know for sure. I searched the Internet, but the above news info is all I could find. I doubt that it is a public event, but you never know.
