Red Faction 9 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 2
Hey all, so I've noticed that Red Faction is getting a crapload of love from LR. I believe I noticed on saturday a party that was open for about 8hrs.. Thats love!

Anyway, i picked it up and would like to play with you guys but I noticed that I have to unlock some of the team gametypes. How much exp must one get to unlock all of the gametypes?

If you jump into a party with us, it won't matter what you have/haven't unlocked. It just goes by the party leader. And even then, it takes a tiny handful of games to unlock the bigger modes. Glad to get another sucked into the Faction.

I have to admit: I was pretty skeptical after playing the multiplayer demo. But the full-version is really fun.

Thanks for joining up with us and playing a few the other night JRWS, it was a good time.

We seem to be playing this more than even I expected to be honest. When I get a chance I scurry over to a massive tower and just obliterate it for amusement.

Absolutely though JRWS, you can play with us almost every night. And I know there's going to be some wise cracks coming my way about me not playing 'every night'... Sometimes you've got to put stuff that needs done (like playing UFC) ahead of Red Faction.

Single player didn't grip me, but the Multiplayer on the other hand is quite enjoyable, with the backpack system and a lot of weapons I like it.

Really? I thought the single played (even though I'm not all the way through it) was good.

I do agree that the online is a lot of fun and it seems like Volition put a bit of time and effort into it.

  • Maneatingcow : The BioShock soundtrack he posts is especially interesting because it is entirely "home made". Since there was no "official" soundtrack released he tracked down every song he could used in the game. Read the blog post even if you don't download it.
