In CoD4: MW I prestiged 9 times about 16 levels from doing it for the 10th, and final time, but then CoD: MW2 came out. So now the question is will I go all the way? I honestly would rather not this time, but their is a voice in the back of my head that says..."Go for it." So, I am seriously considering giving it a go in another 18 levels. Is anyone planning on maybe doing a prestige or two?

Yea I will hit that button each time.. Keeps it fresh for me.

It's tough for me to say - there's SO MUCH to unlock each time, and I'm not sure if it'd be fresh or if it'd wear on me.

I know we was talking this evening about it Knight, and was curious if you went through with it or not after everyone left. I have the urge to do it once but I don't think I can follow through with it. Increasing the prestige to level 70 and the amount of unlocks in Cod Mod 2 is a little nuts.

I'm thinking I won't do it but I can never say never.

I'll definately prestige. I mean, just with the experience to get at the high levels I'm at (So close to 69 I can almost feel the AK at one level higher.), If me and my friend are dominating the whole leaderboard at demo, or something like that, I get incredibly bored. And the fact that I hate sitting there with no EXP to earn, I just sit there...and click the button, hate myself to around level 10, get something cool, and mess some people up.

No, I didn't do go through with it. There's still that evil little voice in the back of my head that says do it, but I really just wanna keep my stuff. If I prestige I wont stop until I do it ten times. I hear you get more challenges that are only unlocked after you prestige to make it easier to do it again, but I'm still hesitant to do it.

You get some titles, emblems, and a new custom slot. The only thing I care about are the slots just because sometimes I want to try something new, but I don't want to mess with my stuff that works. You loose all your attachments, your perks, your cammos(blue tiger, red tiger, fall), and you have to unlock most of your guns again.

I'm sure if I did prestige I would reach 10th prestige before the end of next year, but that is a long time before I can finally hunker down, and finally get to keep my stuff.

Now I plan on jumping in every room I see you in and hope I'm on the other team to make you say, "why did I ever prestige, I'm getting destroyed now."

I'm already a 14 again. You actually unlock new challenges that you only get for going prestige. You get 2 new ones for each gun 1 for 500 kills that gives you 10000 points and another for 250 headshots for 10000. Those don't roll over when I prestige again I think. Then there's some others also, but I forget what they're for.
