Old School Throwback Night? 3 Months ago Karma: 12
With no "OMG" multiplayer titles being released the first couple weeks of 2010, I'd like to run an "old school" night for the first game night in January to feature some games we haven't played in awhile.
Since a lot of people sell their older games to buy new ones, I'm hoping to get some feedback on what people might like to play. Here's some of the titles I had in mind:

Burnout Paradise
Castle Crashers - 1
Shadowrun
G.R.A.W.2
Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Rock Band 2 - 1
Gears of War 2 - 2
Red Faction - 4
Battlefield 1943
Battlefield: Bad Company
F.E.A.R. 2

Gears of War 1 - 1
Team Fortress 2 - 2
CoD: WaW - 1

I know some of these aren't "old school" per se (and the list is admittedly biased to what I saw on my shelf), but the idea was to bring back a game or two which might be collecting dust (older titles also ship faster from GameFly).

Team Fortress 2, definitely. That had me addicted for most of 2008.

Yeah, I have very fond memories of playing TF1 online, and TF2 just brings those all back. Even so, I never got a whole lot of playtime with TF2, so a night featuring it would be awesome.

I'd have to give my votes to Gears of War 2 and Rock Band 2. I feel like a horrible gamer for not playing more of GoW2.

Agreed...I honestly don't think I've ever played GoW2 multiplayer at all.

I played it once. Went "OKAY WTF. CAMPING WHORE." after I was killed the first time. Turned off the game and popped in WaW. xD
