The Loading Reality Gamerscore Challenge is about to be under way, and we'd like you to join in for the fun! The sign up for the November 2009 challenge is currently up in the forums, and will be there until November 1, 2009 - when the challenge will start.

We will be giving away one title to the winner with the most gamerscore at the end of the challenges completion. The game will be an Xbox Live Arcade title chosen by the winner from the list on amazon.com that is under $15. That means you could turn back time with Braid, or even roll around your giant head after winning in Madballs.

We certainly enjoy the challenge amongst fellow gamerscore whores, and we're ok calling ourselves that when it comes to giving the community the shot to pick up another awesome XBLA title to add to their library while pursuing the fun in running some of the funnest games coming out now. Please don't forget though, we have many members of the community who are simply gamers playing games who just so happened to earn some gamerscre points. That's entirely fine, and even welcomed! With Modern Warfare 2, Forza Motorsport 3, Borderlands, and even the recently release Halo 3 ODST, everyone will have the new games in their hands to get some solid points from.

All winners must be registered with LoadingReality.com and have posted in this thread showing their interest to participate in the challenge, prior to the completion of the challenge on November 15, 2009.

I'm in, although I really don't know yet what I'm going to play for easy gamerscore this time around.

Hell yeah! I love Gamerscore challenges, and when I joined LR, the most previous one was ending.

Winning any XBLA game sounds like an epic deal to me. I'm in, and I think now is the time when I should humiliate myself by earning 1000 in Hannah Montana.

I just need to make sure that anything I do play gives me 1000 points. My completion percentage is surprisingly 90%, so I have no intention of screwing that up. Big guns I intend on throwing out:

Hannah Montana: The Movie (Yep, I'm a proud GS whore like that.)
Fallout 3 PC Version (The rest of the points that haven't been earned yet will work out handy.)
Halo ODST
Modern Warfare 2
And a few more.

Awesome...I'll be doing a late-night playthrough of F.E.A.R. 2 for Halloween this weekend. Hopefully, I'll be playing around the time the contest starts.

about a month ago, I used a couple of GameFly coupons and picked it up for like $6. Haven't even put it in my console yet though.
I'll definitely be up late, but probably not until 3 a.m....maybe I'll just wait until sunday morning to start playing.

I know Avatar is weak sauce, but honestly, it's not that bad. Getting 1000 for 2 minutes of play has become a phenomenon over Xbox Live. In fact, it's hard to find people who have yet to do Avatar.

And honestly, wouldn't you rather get 1000 GS points over just 2 minutes of playing a shitty game instead of spending 3-4 hours playing Hannah Montana: The Movie for an easy 1000 points boost?

I still can't bring myself to playing Hannah Montana. That's just way too low for me to go, but I don't doubt that I'll end up with 1000 in that game some day.


Anyway, I have a few games ready at my disposal. This will be an awesome week!

I'm going to try my best to make sure I push my way up the rankings a little more this time. With all of the games I have, I've got plenty gamerscore on tap.. Now I just have to pull down the lever to release the achievement juices.

Awesome job on the win Rick, you really threw your gamerscore weight around in this one. We had a lot of high rollers pulling out the points left and right though including nearly 9 out of the 13 pulling in at least 1,000 points or more.

That was a really awesome challenge. I gave in when Rick put in TMNT. I had already done that one and was running out of options.

Thanks guys. I don't normally don't play games this way. Even silly games like TMNT.. I normally take my time and take it all in (hence the low gamerscore:large library ratio) but this time it was all work.

Kwyz is a monster and Josh came out of left field near the end. If I didn't put my social life on hold (I owe Megan BIGTIME) I wouldn't have stood a chance.

This was a pretty good one. While I did only make it to the middle of the pack, it did force me to play some of my games a little more intensely than I normally do to get those gamerpoints. In fact I'm one level away from beating Modern Warfare 2 on Veteran. I've never beaten anything on the hardest difficulty, or even tried to, so this is quite a personal gamer accomplishment for me. Thank you to the Gamerscore Challenge for that.

Congrats to Bigpapirick and i also share the same experience as
Maneatingcow23 with this Gamerscore Challenge it did force me to play some of my games a little more intensely than I normally do to get those gamerpoints because it made me finish the single player of GRID, Star Wars:TFU, make more Halo 3 achievements and was planing to do gears of war 2 in insane, ODST in legendary, finish Forza 2 but MW2 came out and am i glad!
To finish, the feedback i give about this challenge is positive.
